Born and raised between Michigan and Florida, Rodney Ankney has always aspired to be a business professional. His interest in marketing began in high school when he was able to assist a family friend in promoting their travel agency, igniting a lasting curiosity in creating and sharing brand stories. 

Rodney completed his education at Northwestern Michigan College and Ferris University, obtaining an MBA with a concentration in Executive Leadership and Advertising/Marketing from Davenport University. His success in aiding businesses create groundbreaking marketing strategies has relied heavily on his solid academic base. 

Rodney’s professional journey has been both varied and influential. Rodney has worked in various industries, starting with a fast food job at 14 and moving on to collaborate with global marketing agencies. He has worked with Homeland Security and first responders across the country, and contributed to the creation of personnel and asset accountability systems for Team Rubicon, a veteran-led organization that assists communities during times of crisis. 

Rodney has assisted many brands in their growth through strategic marketing efforts in industries including collector car insurance, construction, furniture retail, and technology, leveraging his extensive experience. He is highly skilled in designing marketing strategies based on data and research, delivering measurable outcomes. 

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Rodney is highly involved in his local community. He is currently a member of the Central High School Business Advisory Board, serves as a Deacon Member, sits on the K-Town Showdown Board, coaches Little League, and teaches KidsPoint Sunday School. His dedication to helping others showcases his beliefs and commitment to individual and communal development.

In his personal life, Rodney likes to spend time with his family, travel, work on home renovation projects, and is a committed car lover. Driven by his passion for excellence, Rodney continues to pursue personal and professional fulfillment, with aspirations of exploring Ancient Greece and visiting all seven continents.
